In 2008, my life took an unexpected turn. As an IT professional in the US, I faced financial uncertainty when the recession hit, forcing me to return to India. Instead of letting it be a setback, I saw it as an opportunity to build something meaningful.

In 2014, my wife Rajini and I embarked on a journey to create Neidhal selling unstitched salwar materials, a small online store on Facebook and WhatsApp. With no experience in fabrics or business, we were driven by a passion to bring high-quality traditional wear to women. We introduced Cash on Delivery (COD) and personally delivered orders across Chennai. This personal touch helped build trust with our customers.

As Neidhal grew, I made the bold decision to leave my 16-year long IT career in 2016 to dedicate myself fully to our brand. We launched our website, making it easier for women across India to access premium salwar materials and sarees. The COVID-19 pandemic brought new challenges, but also opened new opportunities. We started a YouTube channel, connecting with more customers and showcasing our collections in an interactive way.
